What are Bio-Identical Hormones?

What are the principles of Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement?

Hormone replacement should, ideally, reproduce the exact same hormonal milieu that is present in a healthy, youthful patient. How are the pellets inserted?

Hormone pellets are about the size of a Tic-Tac and are inserted under the skin. At our office, the pellets are inserted by a board certified physician with specialized training in BHRT and pellet insertions. The procedure is performed in the office and takes about 10 minutes.
